Based on the IE5 engine, it boasts many new features that address the limitations of other browsers. PQBrowser features a built-in pop-up stopper that will automatically inhibit pages opening by themselves (like pop-up ads do), and a handy image-tag feature allows you to mark images for bulk download later. PQBrowser has a funky 'Auto Browser' feature that will cycle through designated pages on a timer (useful for public viewing) and it can automatically detect page changes (and can inform you via email). Hotkeys can be assigned to URLs and PQBrowser can perform a slideshow of linked images. Quite a featuresome browser that could be a suitable alternative to your current browser. |
