Alligator
Alligator is a powerful download manager, written on pure Win32 API without use of additional libraries, such as MFC, ATL, that makes it one of most compact, powerful and fastest. It has all necessary tools within, including Browser integration for easy click and download support, Clipboard monitoring, drag and drop, FTP search and Split downloading by different streams (It increases productivity in some cases up to 200%.). Our Review: A good download manager that can play well with the big boys (Go!zilla, Getright, etc). Some may not approve of Alligator due to the fact that it does not have all the bells and whistles of the others, but we happened to like its bareboned-ness. It's a small download and install, and in our opinion, the less stuff there is, the less that can go wrong (which is important when downloading). Alligator integrates with browser clicks, and queues files before downloading. We found the downloading to be stable and relatively fast. A very worthwhile download manager, especially for those of you who often get frustrated and confused with other managers.
