FlipBrowser is an e-book viewer and a web browser. It downloads Web pages and organizes them into books, complete with flipping pages, page-turning sounds, and bookmarks. FlipBrowser allows the user to navigate across webpages of information as easily as flipping a real book. While you are reading the current page, the next few pages will be streamed into your PC. Pages have to be downloaded just once during each session, then you can quickly flip between them without having to wait for them to load again. This streaming format is suitable for use in an online product catalog, multi-page brochure, pre-authored electronic books, photo albums or presentations stored on the web. Our Review: FlipBrowser is an interesting program designed for reading and creating e-books. If you're wondering what an e-book is you wouldn't be alone, but this program makes it very easy to not only understand but also create your own e-books. (For those of us who are still none the wiser, an e-book is basically any book-type object, such as a photo album or novel, that can be viewed online.) The e-books are customizable, from the virtual ring binder to the page turning sounds (although that does get annoying after a while), would be a good program for creating photo albums to share over the internet.
