BeFaster is an internet speed up toolkit that changes certain hidden and known registry/other settings in windows in order to prevent fragmentation of data transfers. It supports AOL, Symantec PcAnyWhere, Opera, Dial-up modem, Lan, Cable Modem, xDSL, ISDN, T1, DirectPc and Cable/DSL running PPPoE. Usage is simple; you can configure settings manually or program can automatically configure them for you. It has a super-ping tool therefore it prevents connection drops and awake suspended modems. It has a live update property so you can have the newest version by clicking a button. Program offers many settings so it's easy to change all settings with one program. It not only supports Dial-up connections, but LAN, ISDN, T1 and others. You can choose to let BeFaster do the optimisation for you or if you know really what you are doing and want to change the MTU value, you can configure it yourself. Also has a nifty ping generator to keep your connection alive. A highly recommended and easy to use program. It works!
