Enhance your browser with voice. Aloud4ie is a floating toolbar browser add-on that allows you to hear web pages. Once installed, Aloud4ie becomes part of Internet Explorer and is available as a set of Toolbar Buttons in your browser. This utility tool is compatible with most common languages and you can control the voice settings (Pitch, Speed, Volume). Our Review: One of the better internet-content vocalisers that I have seen; Aloud4ie is an excellent plug-in that will dictate the words in your browser window. This is excellent for the sight-impaired or those who want to listen to the text while they work on something else. Aloud4ie adds an extra toolbar to your browser from which you can easily activate its text-to-speech functions via the prominent 'play' button. A wide range of voices can be download and, much to my liking, you can alter the speed (words per minute) at which the text will be spoken. An excellent tool.
