VASCam is a VAS application that adds motion detection functionality to any web cam. VASCam monitors the output of any standard web cam, and records images of any motion it detects. In this way, a web cam is turned into a simple security solution. Our Review: VASCam is a simple security software that works like conjunction with your webcam software and webcam. It adds a motion detector capability that allows you to use your webcam as a security surveillance system. The configuration is quite simple, you can setup the sensitivity, frequency, and number of images stored. The down side to this app is that it is only sensitive enough for big movements even when the settings for the sensitivity is set to the highest. Although this app is free, there are other webcam software that are far more useful and featureful and normally includes a motion detector capability as well...some of them are free or is provided with your webcam.
