BadBlue PE provides searching, sharing, peer-to-peer (P2P) and customization capabilities in a tiny footprint. Live sharing of Excel and Word data is also supported. In addition, PE is perfect for web application development and deployment with its full-featured support of tools like CGI, ISAPI and PHP. Our Review: BadBlue is a peer-to-peer file-sharing program with excellent potential for both personal AND business use. BadBlue differs from other file-sharing utilities available in that it doesn't make use of any central server at all - each computer running BadBlue acts as its own server. This means that your data is completely private unless you make your IP address publicly available (which can be done on the BadBlue website). Security can also be configured within the program - requiring passwords to access certain data or even a specific IP address. Users connect direct to your shared files through their web browser. The great business aspects of BadBlue come in the form of live Excel and Word file sharing - if you share either of these file formats, users can view your document in their browser and watch as the data updates. BadBlue appears to be quite a powerful solution and is excellent in its tiny download size.
