The CoSyDat RAS-Manager is used to create, edit and test RAS-Connections. If multiple connections are installed at the system, the RAS-Manager shows all this connections and is able to easily switch between this connections for dialing-up. If the RAS-Manager has opened a phonebook entry and the web connection is "on-line", any Web-Program as Web-Browser etc., can operate over this connection without using the default system settings. A Vamps-Protection against attacks of stragers is included.
Our Review: RAS-Manager is an advanced connection manager that hopes to combine the many different applications usually needed in one simple interface. Thus staying conncected, adding new connections, running applications and playing around with all the various settings can be done from RAS-Manager. Although a little complicated CoSyDat RAS-Manager is aimed at the advanced net-user and shouldn't be too much trouble despite a somewhat flaky interface.
NB. While RAS-Manager is freeware many of the advanced features are still slowed by a nag screen which could get extremely frustrating if you're planning to use this a lot.
