Desktop Delivery
With "Desktop Delivery (DD)", you can use an Internet provider, a telephone line, or a LAN to connect with a remote personal computer (Agent PC) and view images of the Agent PC on the personal computer in front of you (Manager PC). DD is a remote control software program that allows you to operate an Agent PC as if it were in front of you and maintain the Agent PC. With the Manager PC, you can teach a friend how to operate an application, help a friend change the operating environment of his or her personal computer, or engage in a competitive game. The choice is yours. This remote control software allows you to communicate with far away friends through your personal computer. Our Review: This is an interesting little program somewhat similar to Symantec's PcAnywhere. The main differences are that Desktop Delivery is freeware and incorporates a more user based interface. The options are very comprehensive allowing both IP and DUN connection to the remote computer. This is a very good utility for those who need to be able to remotely host computers.
