DUN Sharer solves the problem of how to replicate a Dial-Up Networking (DUN) profile among multiple PCs. Users can create a profile that can be easily exported to other PCs, therefore making it very simple to copy the DUN settings. The program uses an interface that mimics the DUN settings of Windows 95. Just fill in all the information, such as IP addresses, phone number, type of server (PPP, SLIP, etc.), and any other entries found in the DUN settings. Then save the information as a template. You can save multiple templates for different services or locations. Recall a template and choose Create File to export the settings. Then, at a computer that needs a new DUN connection, simply double-click the file that you created, and the settings are automatically imported into a new entry. Or you can place the file in a public are on your network. Users simply access the file via explorer and import the settings into their PC by simply dbl-clicking. This trial version creates only up to five files, after which it has to be registered. Easy to install and use. Registered users can have customization done for free. This version is for 95/98.
Our Review: This is an amazingly practical utility for creating duplicate copies of one Dial Up Network configuration. By setting up a connection then saving it as a template, you can put your connection on floppy disk, thus being able to take it anywhere with you and use it in almost any computer with a modem. Absolutely fantastic and the simplicity Dial-up Networking Connection Sharer brings to a potentially complex operation is great.
