Cartoon Logic presents 4-Net 2.1… The NEXT step in Internet tools. 4-Net allows you to indefinitely maintain your Internet connection by using HTTP Get and ICMP pings to simulate Internet activity. Use 4-Net to monitor your Internet connection’s latency, or your file download speeds. 4-Net includes many basic Internet utilities such as Ping, Finger, Traceroute, and Hostname/IP address resolution. Ping a specified host to determine its network status, Finger a specific user or email address to find out detailed information about the user, and Traceroute to determine the route and speed of all information you send and receive on the Internet. Use 4-Net’s ISP Map feature to gather information about your ISP’s hosting and dial-up nodes. 4-Net features simple Dial-Up Networking and disconnect for total control of your connection. Our Review: 4 - Net is an extension to the Windows Dial-Up connection manager. It allows you to trace a route back to the server and also will monitor the rate of connection. Well designed, with a very impressive layout and very intuitive to use, 4 - Net will make your web-life easier.
