X:drive offers users a free service for file management and file sharing. To access files stored on your X:drive, simply click on the X:drive icon on your Windows desktop; or, click on the Start menu, then click 'Programs', 'X:drive', and finally 'X:drive' again. Our Review: A must have for the traveller! Do not expect magic from your new X drive. It is connected remotely over the internet, so when you transfer to and from it, it will be nowhere near as fast as a local drive. Despite this limitation, it is a fantastic idea. It gives you up to 100MB of free Hard Drive space. You can use the X-drive utility (or even directly over the web, with fewer features) to access it, from anywhere in the world! Best of all, the whole process is supported by great online help, so that literally anyone will get the hang of it in no time.
