A easy to use program which allows you to "finger" a remote host across the Internet and retrieve information. Total Finger implements one of the simplest Internet protocols available - Finger Information Protocol, which is documented in RFC1288. You can use Yahoo or another search engine to find out information on this document. Finger protocol provides the interface to a remote user information program. Our Review:Total Finger is easy to use, but then, so are most programs that allow you to finger. There is nothing very special about it that merits attention. In short, Total Finger fingers and that is all. |
