The only thing really different about 1.1 is the addition of another publishing "mode." Instead of using a dedicated-frame approach (which is butt-ugly on some sites), you can place the rotating banner anywhere you want on specific web pages.
Basically, how we do this is by searching for a small piece of text within the web pages specified and replacing it with the banner rotating code. By default, this phrase is put banner here (remember to use all lower case!) and can be changed in the Customization form to whatever you want (including an invisible custom tag).
Also, while you are in the Customization area, change the Publishing Mode to passive (instead of active) to activate the new mode.
Go into your HTML editor and put the tagging text into your HTML pages (remember, only one per page!).
Because you now have multiple pages that need to be modified, there is a change made to the Site Detail screen: there is now a file pattern parameter, instead of an index filename parameter. If you have modified multiple pages, you can use a wildcard like *.html to scan all HTML files in your FTP directory. Don't worry about making the pattern too wide, as it only places banners in the pages that have the replacement text in them!
Our Review: This is an application for manufacturing advertising banners for websites. While being a little clicky to get the hang of, it is very useful for publishing and designing webpages. This application itself is well designed and very intuitive although there is a decisive lack of help files. However, the program really does run well, thus limiting their neccessity. Overall, a nice addition to your banner arsenal.
