Microsoft Chat is the only Internet chat program that gives you the option of conversing inside a comic strip. As with a standard chat program, you can enter a chat room on an Internet server and conduct real-time conversations with other people. But with Microsoft Chat, you can also pick a cartoon character to represent you, in which case your conversation appears as word balloons inside the frames of a comic strip. Our Review: Microsoft Chat is an excellent IRC chat program that has the ability to use comic strips to display conversation. A nice variation from the usual text only chat or alternative to cartooned web chats where you have to wait a while for your page to load up before the comic comes up. Chatters also have the ability to change their characters as well as facial expressions while chatting to make things more lively and interesting.
