'All-Mail' is an Internet application that checks for the arrival of new email in a single or multiple POP3 accounts and retrieves any new email to a local machine. The software dials-up an ISP at pre-set intervals, sends any outgoing mail, retrieves new mail and then disconnects. The sending of outgoing mail is configurable to either an immediate send or at the next scheduled check for new mail. Various new mail notifications are available. Our Review:All-Mail is a basic mail server that allows collection of mail from a single POP3 account (ie. have multiple users on only one account with your ISP). Ideal for small business use, but the open interface means anybody can stroll up to the server and read people's email. |
