JSentry Proxy Server allows all computers in your network access to the Internet though one dial-up modem, cable modem, ISDN or DSL connection. JSentry supports HTTP, SSL, FTP, E-mail, News, Telnet and SOCKS 4 and 5 protocols. Features include logging, site blocking, auto-connect / disconnect and remote administration with a web browser. Windows, Linux , Unix, OS/2 and Novell versions available. JSentry installs easily in minutes. JSentry also has security features that allow you to restrict access to certain sites, as well as to authorize users' Internet access by IP address. Our Review: This is a Java-based non-cached proxy server, allowing multiple computers to access the Internet through the same connection. The console for the server is displayed in a text screen. A useful feature is the ability to load JSentry as an NT service when running it on Windows NT. JSentry supports all major Internet protocols and is easily configurable with the Proxy Server Administrator.
