KidSafe Explorer is a children's web browser that allows parents/teachers to control which sites children may access. Access is controlled by a password protected and encrypted list of KidSafe Favorites defined by the Supervisor. The Favorites list can also be shared in a classroom environment to simplify administration. Extra security can be applied such as blocking access to other programs. Kidsafe Explorer features a simple and colorful interface making it appealing to children. Our Review:This has a great 'kiddie friendly" environment. All the tool bar icons and side scroll link pics are very simplistic and creative. It is easy for the supervisor to configure and the program comes with some predefined areas of interest, such as Seasame Street, Peanuts(Snoopy), Encyclopedia Brittanica, Dr Seuss, Lego and more. Very nice. |
