ArGoSoft FTP Server is a freeware for home use. If you are going to use it for business, please contact us. Our server supports all required FTP commands, and more, such as, passive transfers, and file transfer restarts. It does not have fancy features, such as, setting different user rights for different directories, virtual directories, IP address restrictions. You cannot run it as Windows NT service, cannot change the listener port. But, as we believe, all this makes it really simple to set up and run. And, we are sure, that you will love it. Our Review: This is a really easy to setup FTP server designed for home use. It simplifies FTP a little too much, but it will serve its purpose without fault. So you get a very functional, relatively easy to use FTP client for accessing those FTP sites. There aren't a great deal of features included in this package, but it performs the rudimentaries with minimum fuss. However, prepare to be frustrated by the inescapable help-file and alarmed by the admission of a security problem in earlier versions. All things said and done, despite its faults, it's nice to have an FTP server that works and is distrbuted as freeware. This unregistered version will shutdown after 60mins.
