Bassline WinPopUp is an instant messaging tool improved over the WinPopup application which comes with Windows95/98. Much QUICKER and EASIER way than e-mail when you send a short-message up to 1200 bytes or files to users in your LAN environment(Microsoft Network, NetBEUI or IPX/SPX). Our Review:This application is an excellent idea. Bassline WinPopUp allows the user to reply to incoming e-mail using a set of pre-designed and constructed templates with the click of a button. Thus, no more writing lengthy mails to a group of people - simply hit the return button and your reply is sent. However, this client only caters for outgoing mail and does not recieve mail which we felt to be a bit of a loss. However, the benefits of this application make it well worth while. |
