News Scanner is an utility designed to parse the newsgroups of a specified news server and download the file attachments. Use this application for your leisure, download thousands of music files and wonderful high-quality pictures from newsgroups. Our Review:Unfortunately we were unable to connect to a news server to test this interesting peice of software. News Scanner boasts the abiltry to download files of newsgroups. It seemed very easy to operate, with a minimal amount of options-just connect, search, and download. Having access to a news server (i.e. name and password) is a must. |
