The AOL Instant Messenger (SM) (AIM) service provides the easiest way to let you communicate with your friends. AIM lets you: Send instant messages or talk to your buddies in a private chat room, Get the latest news and stock quotes (delayed 15 minutes) and set stock alerts, Set Mail alerts and read mail in any of your e-mail accounts, Transfer files, Search the Internet. Our Review:Together with ICQ and Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger is one of the most widely used instant message applications. Know when your friends and family members are online and send them messages or files. A wide variety of functions are supported, but not as many as ICQ, such as stock updates and visual messaging. Highly addictive, but not that wider user base. |
