URL's - they're all over the place! In documents, emails, files, online, offline... I never got around to visiting them. Too little time, and no convenient way of catching the address. If you are online, you have to interrupt what you are doing just for the sake of going there long enough to bookmark it. If you are offline, you have to copy and paste it to something, somewhere - several steps. You might even scribble it down on a piece of paper you might even find again later - now that's efficient, eh? What I wanted, and what I hope you will get hooked on as well, is a simple, system level way of grabbing and recording URL's for later visiting - wheneva' you feel like getting around to it that does not cause you to stop what you are doing - with urlybird. urlybird sits in your system tray and monitors the Windows Clipboard. When you see a URL that you would like to visit, all you have to do is highlight it and hit Control-C (Copy it). That's it... That's all... Nothing more... urlybird will see, parse it, and hold it aside for you. Later, when you are online or ready to visit the page, your list is right down there waiting for you.. Our Review: Ok, sick of having about one billion little 1 line notepad documents sitting in your documents folder? Well, with urlybird just hit ctrl+C and it will automatically put your URL in its memory and later, when you have finished doing your browsing, you can go back to urlybird and look at the list of bookmarked URLs and visit them. Nice colours and you can write little notes to accompany the site. Nice.
