Have you ever been on a site that was so big you got lost? Have you ever wanted to clean up the taskbar of browser windows because you kept shift-clicking sites to not lose your place? Well, Internet Surfer was designed to do all the above things and more!
Here are some key features: - MDI (Multiple Document Interface)- Ability to split views - Session-logging to monitor activities- Time selective auto-refreshing on views - One-click access to an HTML-based mail server - Keyboard accelerated commands - Private Home page
- Private Links dialog - Optional address interface - Windows 95/98/NT
Our Review: This is a basic browser with a few nice accessibility features. Internet Surfer has excellent HotKey control as well as session logging and split screening abilities. Connectivity options are limited but the program does a fine job of self-configuring and there's a favorites section in the form of a 'Links' box. The big advantage that this program has over Netscape or IE is that it loads up so quickly - it really is fast and easy to use. If you're after a back-up browser which you can use purely for small window viewing ( there are a few issues with resizing ) when your 'dinosaurs' are slowing up, you could do a lot worse then this functional home-grown piece of freeware.
