Easy LAN Chat is an easy to use Local Area Network chat program for use by computers on an established Windows 95 or 98 network using share level access. It does not use the Internet for chatting and cannot communicate with, or by using, Internet protocols. Our Review:Easy LAN Chat is a simple chat program that works over an existing LAN. The commands are very basic; send message, loggoff and logon, username. It is slowish on sending messages, so some fast typists may find messages overlapping or sent at the wrong place, but very useable otherwise. |
