Bookmarks provide meaningful titles to URL locations to help you identify them easily. Similar to hyperlinks on Web pages, a meaningful title is easily understood and remembered.. Bookmarks need to be managed and categorized, and most existing browsers have limited bookmark management capabilities such as Favorites in IE, Bookmarks in Netscape and Hot List in Opera. While these browsers only manage their own proprietary Bookmarks, Bookmark Mate supports and manages all types of Bookmarks. Users can also create and manage their own Bookmarks on their desktop as well as on the Internet through the Bookmark Everywhere (“BME”) feature. Our Review: For a company with such a nice looking web-site, they could have made at least made a nicer looking bookmark manager. I mean, not that there is anything wrong with it, it's just a bit plain looking.... Apart from that, Bookmark Mate is a nice looking bookmark manager, with drag and drop support and a whole heap of other neat features. One of the better features is the Check URL function, that will make sure that the link you have saved is an actual site, and isn't broken. It also has different profiles, so Mum's cooking sites, Dad's car sites and little Jimmy's warez sites don't get mixed up, and Mum doesn't see Jimmy's warez sites...Good Effort!
