LBE Web Helpdesk is available in two versions: Professional Edition - operates against an Access database so you don't need to purchase expensive database licences. If you are already using LBE Desktop Helpdesk, you can share the same database with LBE Web Helpdesk. Enterprise Edition - uses a Microsoft SQL Server database for those customers who need the robustness and scalability of a proven database management system. You can allow access to just your own department, company or even customers all over the world. Reduce calls to your helpdesk because users can add their own jobs. Our Review: Ironically, for a program containing the word help in the title, it is a real hassle to install and involves manually transferring files from the ZIP directory. In the readme file associated with the program, the 4th step of 8 in installation for those who are not already lost is 'If there is a setup.exe file, run it.' Unfortunately, there is no setup.exe file, and was at this point that I decided that I had had enough. For those of you interested in solving problems or puzzles even, this program is for you. However, if you do succeed, and get it running, then chances are you're far too computer literate to need a web help program anyway! Well and truly worthy of zero stars by my reckoning.
