ePrompter is a free email notification utility that automatically checks up to eight AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, Mail.com, email.com and POP3 email accounts at the same time, featuring a unique screensaver and a rotating tray icon that let you know at a glance the current status of your selected email accounts, whether your computer is online or offline. Our Review: A very cool program! ePrompter goes around and checks all of your mail boxes for new mail and from there you can delete and read the mail, as it displays the headers. It also has a screensaver mode which will check your mail while you are away and a scheduling feature which lets you choose how long it waits before it rechecks your mailbox. Sure, there are plenty of other programs out there that do a similar thing, but I like this one, and it supports webmail addresses too! The only slightly negative comment to make it that the interface is a little tacky, but it is still very functional and takes a no frills approach to the task.
