POPPAger
POPPager is a FREE (for 1 user) application that runs on Win9x or NT 4 and that will monitor a POP3 mailbox. When mail gets sent to the mailbox POP Pager will send it to your alphanumeric pager or GSM. POPPager sends the mail to the pager/GSM based on the phonenumber that is in the subject of the mail, so you can use a central email account as a deposit location for any mail sent to any pager. Our Review: Now this is a good idea! Why pay heaps for a WAP capable phone when you can have your e-mail checked from home and then sent to your phone or pager! Great idea. Unfortunately, it's quite hard to set up and provides very little documentation on how to do so. In addition, it didn't seem to work over out LAN, which is a problem... oh, well. Great if you have a modem then...
