Zip Backup to CD distributes the files to be backed up in several stand alone Zip files of a size fitting a standard writable CD (CD-R)or a size chosen by the user. Using the standard Zip file format, allowing backup files to be viewed and restored with most zip file utilities. Build in scheduler supporting unattended auto-backup. Our Review:Zip Backup to CD is a nice little program for backing up directories and files onto CD's. It creates simply one big file to back them up in and compresses it, which saves space. It has a nice interface and is easy to use. You can also choose to password protect your files if you so choose to prevent anyone from gaining access. Zip Backup also has the option to backup only the newest files in the directory, as opposed to re-compressing the enitre directory. Good! |
