Nugget Ping is a poor mans network monitor tool. It displays the status of IP devices on a LAN. A built-in web server allows the LAN status to be viewed from any web browser on the network.
Because of memory leak problems in Windows 95/98 this program is best run under Windows NT or Windows 2000
Our Review: As a small, free networking tool Nugget Ping does an admirable job. Primarily a monitoring tool, it allows the user to create a graphical representation of the network by adding and editing various objects. It's then all a matter of pinging and seeing the results (nice pie-charts are supplied). You can also Telnet objects with a simple click of the mouse. Unlikely to challenge the more advanced (and pricey) network monitoring tools, Nugget Ping does what it can, and does it well.
