Version 2.38 now can:
Handle disks over 8G
Copy disks and partitions
Format and Resize FAT partitions
Boot MS-, PC-, DR- DOS and Windows NT from partitions above 2G
Boot Partition Manager from a floppy without any OS
Now added SIMULATION program which lets you play with Partition Manager without messing the real disk.
Our Review: A vey good Partition program but recommended for experienced users, as it involves a bit of calculating and setting up. Ranish Partition Manager requires you to calculate each and every figure such as cylinder numbers and heads to be able to partition your hard drive successfully. There's quite a bit involved in partitioning your hard drive so we suggest you create a back up first. This also requires you to defragment your hard drive before the process. So if you're looking to setup a multiboot PC, say like Linux and Windows, or simply would like to resize your existing partition then Ranish Partition Manager is recommended. Considering it's free, it sure is a good alternative to bigger and more expensive partition programs like Partition Magic.
