Drag And Zip is a set of utilities that makes managing ZIP and other compressed files very easy. With Drag And Zip you can use Explorer or any file manager that supports drag and drop to manage ZIP, LZH, GZ, TAR, ARJ, ZOO, CAB and ZOO files as well as files encoded in MIME, Uuencode, Xxencode and Bin/Hex.. With its built in routines to ZIP and unzip files, Drag And Zip makes it very easy to compress files into ZIP files and to extract files from ZIP files. You can also MIME encode and Uuencode the resulting Zip files or make self extracting files out of them. Drag And Zip includes a plug in for Netscape and Internet Explorer called Browse And Zip. With Browse And Zip you can open Zip files remotely without having to download them first. Our Review: Nice little zipping utility that is easy to use, simple and comes complete with a comprehensive wizard, that will walk beginners through the process of creating ZIP, or auto-executable ZIP files. Has support for MIME and UU encryption within the zips, password protection and comes complete with 'ZIP viewer', a nifty program that will efficiently view any zipped files. Another good feature of Drag And Zip is the built-in virus checker.
