This program provides password protection for Windows 95 or 98, eliminating unauthorized access. The password is encoded for extra protection. This program miminizes to the system tray for quick loading if you need to walk away from your computer. It also lets you know if there is an unauthorized login attempt. You have the option to use your own backgrounds. With a quick double click of the padlock in the system tray all open programs are minimized and hidden.Once your password is entered all open windows come back in the system tray. Our Review: Privacy For Windows is a simple way to protect the contents of your computer from prying eyes whilst you are away from your computer. It runs as a systray application and allows you to lock your computer by double-clicking on the icon. When the computer is locked all that is visible on the screen is a dialog box asking for the entry-password. Incorrect password attempts are logged and a successful login also causes all windows to be minimized for extra security. Can also be set to run at startup.
