Utility to decrypt PDF files with guarantee and/or unset operation restrictions (printing, changing etc). For decrypting, does not brute-forces passwords, but finds the key. Key searching will take about 45 days on Pentium II/333. Commercial version includes simply distributed computing
mechanism. Works fine under DOS (needs DPMI-host), Win32.
Our Review: Simple command-line program for decrypting PDF files that comes with good help and a little file to practice on (this demo won't work on the larger files). Like all decryption utilities it can take over month to do it's thing which makes it hard to think of a reason a private user (or commercial for that matter) would have for it. Still, if decryption is a must then give this a go.
NB. $29 is the starting price for minimum functionality.
