RenameMan is a tool to allow you to quickly rename lots of files. It is extremely flexible and easy to use. RenameMan has the ability to store all your most common rename commands, which is particularly useful if you regularly have to rename files in the same way. It also has the ability to rename files from more than one folder at a time. Renaming two is just is easy it just takes twice as long. Unfortunately when you have to rename 100's of files or more this approach falters somewhat - and that is when you need a utility like RenameMan. With a simple interface RenameMan lets you select the folder in which your files are kept and then lets you apply one of many commands to chop, change and add things to the file names. While there are a good range of options available letting you map patterns and truncate etc. they all take a while to get used to and could have been simplified a bit. Still, with only a small ease-of-use niggle you can't deny RenameMan's potential worth. Recommended.
