InSync
InSync is a directory synchronizer that allows you to rapidly make identical copies of directory structures and all files within. This is useful in performing backups and propagating data from one machine to another. Using InSync you can define and run multiple synchronization jobs that can specify one or more source directories, each of which can be synchronized to one or more target directories. InSync uses state of the art techniques to copy only files which are different between source and target directories. It also takes advantage of multi thread processing, allowing parallel processing of multiple jobs. All file system types are supported using conventional or universal naming convention (UNC) file names. This allows you to access all local and LAN directories. For additional flexibility InSync behavior can be customized using custom profiles. Our Review: Replicate directories and files exactly to another PC or on your local disk. InSync is a useful utility with a decent and informative interface. Very useful for backing up groups of files (such as media files), or for transferring information from one PC to another. If you need to perform this sort of task, InSync is a very worthwhile application and this Beta version will keep you up to speed with developments.
