WIRM was designed as a simple to use task tray application providing the basic feature set of quickres and the Display Properties control panel applet. It also features advanced features not found in any standard windows controls or tweekUI. New in version 1.0.0.28 Posible fix for Transparent Icon text backgrounds not working on some ME systems.(Don Raines) Fixed but that cycling of wallpapers only worked with Transparent Icon text backgrounds. (A Waterfield) Added a hotkey Ctrl-I to turn Cloak desktop icons of for 10 seconds.(Scott Seifert) Added ability to change the Icon text color when Transparent Icon text backgrounds is on.(A.H.Banen) Our Review: WIRM is a simple systray application that gives you the ability to quickly change your screen resolution. Also included is a simple automatic wallpaper cycler that will change the wallpaper at set intervals. This latest update includes a shortcut key for another useful function that WIRM implements - the ability to hide all of your desktop icons. Dirt-simple - but for such vital functions you wouldn't want anything too gimmicky.
