Our Review: If you connect to a multitude of workgroups and servers then you'll know that changing network settings is a real hassle - especially when things go wrong. SwitchIP Professional allows you to create settings groups to automate the task of changing networks. Each profile can have associated IP, TCP/IP, DCHP, gateway, network-identification, logon, DNS, and WINS settings - as well as custom-installed network printers. SwitchIP can even manage your browser settings if your internet-connection settings vary from network-to-network. Useful feature-enhancements include the ability to have a custom network-neighborhood icon for each profile - making it easy to see at-a-glance which network you are connected to, and the ability to capture all profile settings from your current connection. An excellent tool that was obviously designed to do the job (and do the job well).
