No english description. Our Review:A little scary at first because it defaults to show all menus in german - but if you click on the info window you can change the language. Anyway - WinSplit is a utility to archive large files into smaller pieces. You specify how big you want the output files to be by either requesting the output to be a certain number of files or a certain filesize limit. A handy drop-down menu allows you to quickly specify that you want the output files to be small enough to fit onto various sizes of media (eg: CDRs or 3.5" disks). Seems to be fairly competent but not everything is intuitive. |
