AD Search&Replace is a useful Windows 95/98/NT utility gives you a powerful and friendly tool to find files having a common text across directories and drives on your computer or on computers in local network. You can easily apply file-spec, date, and size filters to speed up the search. It also allows you to replace strings. Specify your search-and-replace strings, and then choose the action you'd like to take. This utility also can search (not replace!) files in ZIP archives. Our Review: Are you one of those people who has millions of little notepad files with one or two names and phone-numbers or e-mail addresses on them and always has a real struggle trying to find that elusive name? If you are then AD Search & Replace is just the program for you, it searches through all the files on your hard-drive looking for a specific word or phrase. It's very fast and has a replace function too, so you can remove all traces of that ex-girlfriend from your machine :D Quite good!
