Advanced Call Center is a full-featured yet easy-to-use answering machine software for your voice modem. All necessary functions are supported: Caller ID lets you see and hear who’s calling via screen pop-ups, distinctive rings and caller’s name announcement with speech synthesis. “Black” and “white” list functions filter calls based on caller database, call origin and other parameters. You can map personalized greetings to callers, organize information in phone books and record conversations. Advanced features include pager notification, sending call details and voice messages over e-mail, and starting an external fax program when an incoming fax call is recognized. Tightly integrating voice modem with the sound card, ACC offers a feature that leading competitors do not - real time voice transfer from telephone line to PC sound system, so you don’t need an extra speaker attached to the modem! Runs as a tray application when idle, uses minimum system resources, and automatically frees the modem for an Internet connection. Our Review: Advanced Call Center is truly the most advanced answer-machine software known to myself. Not only is this program chock full of features but it runs beautifully as well! When you don't have the main window open, Advanced Call Center sits quietly in your systray - ready to provide you with instant access to all of its features via its excellent systray menu system. Advanced Call Center supports multiple profiles (i.e.: several users can have separate voice mailboxes) and, in conjunction with a caller-id service, provides many features specific to individual callers. An included address book lets you associate individual announcement messages to specific callers and a white/black list system can ensure that those people you always want to hear from can get through, and those that you never want to hear from can't. Some useful scheduling features allow your answer phone message to change throughout the day, and comprehensive notification functions even allow you to automatically receive email messages with answerphone messages attached. Advanced Call Center is top of the pops - there is no other.
