If it is difficult for you to eject/close your CD or if your 'comfortable' table is not so comfortable or seeking eject button disturbs you then this utility is for you. This utility helps you to eject/close the door of your CD by moving mouse around hot zone or clicking program icon in the taskbar. Mouse over - door ejects, mouse out - door closes. You can specify wait-time before reaction, size and place of hot-zone. All settings are saved and you can simply add CD-Ejector in your windows STARTUP folder. Requirements: MCI CD-ROM installed on your system. Our Review: I see the future - mankind sits silently by his PC, his body shrunken and withered through lack of use. The eyes, small and squinty, stare into the flickering light of the screen. Only the muscular hand clutching the mouse shows any sign any sign of life... It's a frightening thought, but it could happen if we get any lazier, and that is where CD-Ejector comes in. I'll admit that yes, for some people in some special circumstances reaching to the actual CD drive may be difficult or the drive itself may be broken, and for them this handy utility which sits in your system tray may be of some use. For the rest of us though this a needless luxury which we should avoid - if not for oursleves then for the future of our children. Anyway, a simple right-click on the CD icon will do the same job.
