RAV AntiVirus Desktop v.8 of GeCAD Software is a highly efficient antivirus integrated suite, recommended both for home users (with the fancy skinable interface) and for exigent professionals (with the cutting edge technology included in the advanced features). Our Review: This is a fully competent virus scanner that has both a stand-alone scanner component and a systray monitor. Complete integration with common virus-prone access points (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook) means that every virus-entry point to your computer is guarded. The program interface is skinnable and can be used in simple or advanced mode. The monitor includes scheduling options as well as an auto-update function. All virus definitions can be viewed in the informative definition viewer and a heuristic component in the scanner engine means that even viruses for which you don't have the definitions can be possibly detected. As the start-up splash screen says; "Worry less now! RAV is watching!"
