SmartSync is a versatile synchronization tool for mobile users that routinely transfers files from the office to home and vice-versa. Browse for the folder you want to synchronize and apply optional inclusion and exclusion filters. SmartSync adds the folder contents to a single compressed file, and provides the option of saving it to disk, or sending it out via email or FTP. SmartSync maintains details of the package and only adds new and modified files to subsequent packages. When the package is received on the secondary PC, you can use SmartSync to easily apply the updates. Our Review: For those that feel that Windows briefcase is horribly inadequate, then you may want to use this. SmartSync is a neat little application that allows for constant updating of your important files, so that your home and work projects are always the same version. This latest version has various bugfixes and also allows you to split e-mailed portions up into little bits so that they don't take as long to send. You can update by e-mail, disk or FTP upload. It uses automatic disk spanning for large files too and Zip or Tar compression.Top quality!
