My Clips is a utility to enable you to store all the clips that you repeatedly use,
such as your Name, Address, Phone No, Usernames, Email Addresses, Account No's and
any other text or numerical clips you like, up to a max of 64 characters each.
They are accessable by clicking on an icon in the system tray (optional), which launches a
popup containing your clips, if you then click on a clip it will be coppied to the
clipboard, ready to be pasted anywhere, or optionally auto-pasted into the currently
open application, great for filling in forms etc, in your internet browser.
Options also exist to show the current date to be pasted or auto-pasted anywhere,
and to show Shutdown and Restart on the popup for quick access.
Our Review: My Clips is a very simple clipboard utility that sits on your system tray. You can add commonly used phrases to the list, all of which are accessible by right clicking on the system tray icon. The chosen selection is automatically added to where your cursor is sitting. This might be a little bit better compared to other clipboard suites since it doesn't crowd your list with all the items you've copied to the clipboard. My Clips is independent of that and perhaps easier to manage. It doesn't work for all applications though.
