FastOpen Pro is an easy to use system utility for Windows 95/98/NT/2000. When you run FastOpen Pro it will add an icon to the tray area (the right most area of the Windows TaskBar). You can add programs and folders to it. FastOpen Pro will add an icon for each item you add. When you left click on FastOpen it will display a menu with all your favorite programs, folders and web addresses. FastOpen Pro comes with full networking support. In addition, FastOpen Pro allows you to create menus within menus in a very similar way the Start menu displays them. In fact you can run FastOpen Pro in a mode that replaces the Start button altogether. FastOpen Pro makes it very easy to troubleshoot and managed your menus. In a very easy to use interface, you can add/remove menus and menu items. You can view all your invalid items very easily. You can even select not to add these items to the menu. On top of all these features you can even copy your current Start menu or Favorites menu to FastOpen Pro and use it to build your own custom Start menu. Our Review: This is a well thought out menu replacement system, especially useful for Windows 95 owners who don't have the customisable menus/toobars of 98 onwards. FastOpen Pro is quick to use and doesn't take up too many system resources. It's fully customisable and takes some of the repetitiveness out of Windows. This program is probably aimed at users who are new to windows and haven't mastered the standard shortcut keys and have yet to create their own customisable toolbars. Good quality software!
