This program was written especially for such cases of light or medium data damage (it will not help if all data is destroyed). It scans desired files and creates a small restoration database file. After that, if any of the protected files gets damaged or destroyed, it takes that restoration database and some of the intact files and restores the damaged file - quick and easy! It works with any file system (FAT, FAT32, NTFS) and with any type of damages (virus damage, damage because of bad sectors appearing on the HDD, accidental deletion of a file...). The only limitation is that protected files must not change with time, so this program is good for protecting file archives, MP3 collections, program executables (from virus damages), etc. Our Review: An interesting concept. Regrettably, the program crashed whenever I tried to add the Windows directory to the database. The unregistered version cannot load restoration databases that are more than 7 days old.
