Splitty enables you to split large files into smaller ones that can be regrouped later to reconstitute the original file. It is particularly useful for sending large files over unreliable networks, and for saving large files to floppy disks or other modest storage media.
Our Review: A file splitting / Merging program for splitting large files into small components of different sizes which can then be regrouped easily to the original file. Splitty requires the same software to merge the file back to original which is a bit of a drawback when compared to similar programs that make use of 'self-uniting' files, such as The File Chopper or Slice'n'Splice.
