TxE8 is a unique flexible word processor with a fantastic interface. It's easy to use, powerful and 100% free. It loads extremely fast, can handle very large documents, can e-mail your documents (without using another program), and it has Drag and Drop support. It has many unique features, like the on-screen Find-bar to find things fast, and the Add text panel, which allows you to insert frequently used words quickly. Our Review: Nice little text creating and editing program that is full-featured and easy to use. It can view images, has most of the font support of MS Word and will add the new Euro currency symbol too. Unfortunately, the help supplied requires Adobe reader, but it has a lot of extra features that MS Word does not have. Take for instance the nifty "10x" paste function, the great "insert date" or "insert time" features and its drag 'n drop ability. Last but not least, it also supports the sending of your documents as e-mails. Very nice and most importantly, free.
